Watchers

malico10a

Since january I have been going to this special place in the mountain region of the Philippines. Although it is not far from Manila  (about 240 kms) the place is secluded and known only to a few people. The town of Malico is home to Ikalahan-Kalanguya Tribe with a population of about 1,200. What attracted me to this place is the cool weather (18-10 celsius), the clean air, wonderful view but most of all the people. And the nice thing about it is that they have electricity and cool running water from a mountain spring.

The only store in town, sorry no shopping mall in the area.... and oh also no cigarettes nor alcohol here! I think this is the only totally drug-free town in the Philippines.

You should consider creating a work for this project or submitting some of your existing works. It's not about the prizes which are nominal; but the ability to marry your work to a planet-saving effort in the eye of extraordinary art world and ecology leaders. [link]

Hi escrimador , i would like to ask you if i could use the "projector" photo partly.
I would like to use a part from it for an "banner" i want to design for an open-air-cinema event arranged by our "youth center" for the kids of our city.
It would help me a lot and i would be very thankful.

greetings... spiderschwein

An artist is always alone - if he is an artist. No, what the artist needs is loneliness.
